SOPA and PIPA: Save us!

PIPA and SOPA are federal acts that can potentially wreck the internet. It is supposed to be stopping copyright infringement and online piracy by censoring the web of all things that are not owned by the writer, or artist, etc., like the Art Drawer (possibly). It will be voted upon by Congress on January 24, 2012. It is taking COMPLETELY down YouTube, Wikipedia, all fan-made websites, fan art websites, fan fiction websites, drawing tutorials of TV characters, EVERYTHING. Two of my own blogs could be taken down (Harry Potter-referencing ones).

Sixth Grade Christmas

In my class, the 6 people in our grade have decorated the pod for Christmas (the pod it the in between room between classrooms. Sometimes called the office, too). We have Christmas lights around the whiteboard, tinsel streamers around the door, bells, stockings, Christmas trees, and ornaments. But the most fun of all is the Secret Santa! We are getting gifts for each other. I got a present already. Also, since one of the kids in my class might not be here on Friday (our Opening Day), he showed his to his recipient today, but the recipient can't have it till tomorrow. Mine is already wrapped. In the morning, I need you to email me, reminding me to bring the Secret Santa gift (itsbumpybackhere@gmail.com). The funny thing is, we haven't told our teacher, and we didn't have permission to decorate, but she saw it and didn't object... I wonder how she will react on Friday when we give and receive? O.O Laul!*

Huffington Post Books

As you know, I am hoping to become a published author quite soon. And as you also know, I entered NaNoWriMo. Mom saw on Twitter that Huffington Post Books put out a Twitter feed asking if anyone who was participating in NaNoWriMo would be open to an interview about it. Mom said that her daughter was participating, so I wrote back to the woman that asked and I said yes, and I slipped in that I hope to be a published author soon. They might know some people who could do that for me. Could this me my big break? I doubt it, but I might get a quote in an article about NaNoWriMo! You might be able to see it sometime on the HuffPost Book section on their website. Not yet of course, probably not for a while. I will tell you exactly when and where when it is published. :)

4 Month Anniversary

Yay! We have kept the Art Drawer going for 4 months so far. I hope we have a lot of great readers, nay, I know we do. You guys have stayed with us through thick and thin, through bad writing days and good writing days. And weird days. A heck of a lot of weird days. But that is beside the point. The point is, thanks. The point is, the Art Drawer is not only here for our enjoyment, but yours, too. And we hope you have enjoyed the Art Drawer so far, because there is a lot of it left! Because November is the 4th month of the Art Drawer, AND National Novel Writing Month, why don't you write some fan fiction of CB and RK's daily lives? You can leave them in the comments. You know, what you think we are like based on our posts. Thanks! Hahaha!

October!

Today is the beginning of October! I have been in October three hours longer than RK! :D RK is already here, of course, but at 12:00 this morning, she wasn't in October yet, until 3:00 AM for me! FREAKY!

Last year I was a pirate, and the year before I was a nerd. Last year my mom was the crazy cat lady, and the year before tat she was a nerd with me.

Last year, RK was Finn and Marceline the Vampire queen from Adventure time. I'm not real sure what the story was, there. I think she was Finn at a costume party and her Marceline wasn't finished..? IDK. She can tell you more.

Second Day of School

I am sort of happy, sort of sad... :(/:) I don't know which... Wish me more luck!

OHNO! UNO! *Update!*

Actually, it went fine. I have Mrs Miller as homeroom. She is soooo nice and a really great teacher. Then I go to Mrs Egan for science, then to Mrs Nelson for reading (novels, and such), and then to Mrs Wright for writing, and grammar (pretty much English) (Wright and write. Easy enough to remember!) Then, finally, the long anticipated social studies teacher, Mrs Olinger. She is really nice and funny, but she is strict when she needs to be. I love social sudies this year, because I love Ancient Egypt and Ancient Greece (and probably Rome too. The mythology was pretty much the same). And this year the entire sixth grade itinerary changed, so we are learning about all the ancient civilizations, like the Aztecs, Egyptian, Greeks, Romans, Mayans, Inuits, Chinese, all of them! I like all of my teachers!

Also, we got a new principal. His name is Mr Dunkel. He changed the seating at lunch from military style, where all the seats were arranged like this:
