Assignment

I go to drama class every Monday, and we just got back to it after the break, so this was everyone's first day back. Anyway, there were SO many new people, and we were running short in scripts to do. We had all decided on a light-hearted, lightly funny serious one with a deeper meaning, but not, like, sad or dark, or anything. I mean, serious can be a little sad, but it isn't all sad...

ANYWAY,

I have taken it upon myself to write one by next week. :)

If any of you are fellow playwrights or writers, feel free to email us any scripts or ideas you have! I will not take credite for them or anything. :) I mean, if I write the play with your idea, I will take the writing credit, but I will say something like, "Originally by so-and-so," or something.

I hope I can do it! :D

Coming Soon: Callous in Blunderland *UPDATE!*

Yay! Camera charged, and I filmed every bit of it. I am currently snatching bits and pieces and building my video! It IS a one-man-show, so be prepared! It is pretty cool.


I have a rather large costume and prop collection, so I have a wide variety of things to use in the video.. I just couldn't find a visor hat... Oh well!


I am looking forward to posting it! It should be baked with golden edges by tomorrow. Look for it soon!

4 Month Anniversary

Yay! We have kept the Art Drawer going for 4 months so far. I hope we have a lot of great readers, nay, I know we do. You guys have stayed with us through thick and thin, through bad writing days and good writing days. And weird days. A heck of a lot of weird days. But that is beside the point. The point is, thanks. The point is, the Art Drawer is not only here for our enjoyment, but yours, too. And we hope you have enjoyed the Art Drawer so far, because there is a lot of it left! Because November is the 4th month of the Art Drawer, AND National Novel Writing Month, why don't you write some fan fiction of CB and RK's daily lives? You can leave them in the comments. Doctor Who Contest

Who watches Doctor Who on BBC or BBC America? It is a show about an alien called a Timelord who is the last Timelord left. He calls himself the Doctor. He is in love with the Human race and does his best to save us from aliens and possible threats, like machine aliens called Daleks, stone angels that move, and many more! He travels around the universe in a big blue time machine police box that is bigger on the inside, and it is called a TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimensions In Space). Also, it has been going since the 50's. The Doctor regenerates when he is dying, and that means the studio can switch actors. If you DO watch Doctor Who, you should participate in this contest!

moonembrace is on of our followers. She is also one of my close friends. She LOVES Doctor Who, so I thought she would enjoy this contest.

Please send in a picture of something creative you made from the show! I just made a paper TARDIS, and I saw online some pictures of people dressing up as their favorite Doctors from certain seasons. Whatever you want to do, just be creative and please read the Safety Online Rules and Regulations at the bottom of this post.

House Pics

Scorpia's Wrath

I have just finished writing a play for fun. Lots of the kids in my class are going to be actors and actresses in it. This is just for fun, and it really is fun! I held auditions on Wednesday and Thursday, and everyone who signed up and auditioned IS guaranteed a part, but the auditions are sadly closed now, so all of the parts are taken.

The sixth graders in my class are playing the three main parts, but a really good actress named Ircega (name scrambled for protection) is playing a main part. She is so good, funny, sweet, and pretty. AND she dances. Wow, pentuple threat! Haha.

The play will be shown in front of the class in a few months. Until then, au revoir, and may your plays be very playful.

Spider and Cockroach

I have all of this bio equipment for containing dead bugs and animals. Mainly bugs, but I have some owl yarp (A.K.A. Droppings, or vomit) and a snake skin, though. I just got a cockroach into a test tube and a huge spider into a petri dish.

The spider was BEAUTIFUL! It had been laboring in the corner of our bathroom for two months, but I finally got up the nerve to disturb it. It is just gorgeous! It has tan and black furry legs, interesting markings on its back, and it eyes! Oh, its eyes! When you look closely, you can see its fangs. Enormous, wonderful fangs! I had to wait a while to be sure all of it supposed venom had dried up before I could touch it. It would have been nice to collect a sample of it, though... But the poor spider... :( I wish it hadn't died... I wonder where its eggs are...

The roach was nothing special, but usually (and sadly), when my parents see roaches they kill them, so it was good to get one intact, for a change. :( :D

I have LOTS of bugs and snake skins in my bio drawer!!! I spent all year last year looking for dead things, and I found a non-decayed frog, but it started rotting so my parents wouldn't let me keep it... :(

OMG!!! My Play Is Being Staged!!!!

I wrote a play about a Jeopardy!™episode, except it is with fairytale characters and it is called Jeopardy! the Celebrity and Guest Episode. I think it is pretty cool! In my drama class, we are gonna read it today, and if everyone likes it, we might be able to actually have a show of it! I might film some of our reading today and then post it here, if the kids give their permission. Then, for the play, I am SO posting it!!! :D

Also, Miss Pam says that if we DO end up doing it, I can be the FULL ON DIRECTOR!!!! I was thinking director's assistant, but, okay! Haha! Can't wait! We are reading it in the Monday class (today) and the Wednesday class. Fun! :D

Coming Soon: Callous in Blunderland *UPDATE*

So, you all know of my soon to be Alice in Wonderland spoof. Well, we have hit a bump... RK was going to record three of the voices in the video, but I can't figure out how to get HER voices into MY movie when she lives all the way across the USA.

Here is the problem: We both have Macintosh computers available for use. I would use iMovie. But I can't figure out how I would get the voce she would email me into my iMovie video. If there are any Techies out there like KingofRandom, that would be helpful. Thanks, and may there still be hope for my spoof. If it is impossible, RK might get over her anger at me if I did it myself. :( Only a year of hatred. ;) Haha! I kid, I kid!

Soon, (not SOON soon, but soon) I will post a one-man video about a girl named Callous who accidentally opens the Art Drawer drawer instead of the Misc Drawer and falls into it!!! Funniness ensues.

Fact # 30: Age 30

Since this is out 30th fact, out 30th anniversary of our 1st fact, and just a pretty cool daily thing we do, I will give a fact having to do with '30.'

After age 30, the brain shrinks about a quarter of a percent (0.25%) in mass each year. So, not only is 30 a hurtful age to the 30-year-olds, but you brain gets smaller, too? I suppose that explains a LOT.
