Or post them.. I have a few idea's for videos but I have no clue how to get them onto the Art Drawer... :( Is there anyone who is good with computers?? Email me please and I will tell you more details about the problems I am having with my computer and posting videos!! I appreciate ANY help I can get! <3 YOU ALL!!

Steps and hints to getting better at guitar: Beginners

1.) Make sure that you learn how to change from chord to chord.
2.) Learn new chords.
3.) After learning the easy chords start learning some harder ones.
4.) Learn the B Major chord.
5.) Learn the F Major chord.
6.) Learn easy songs.
7.) Learn a moderately-difficult song.
8.) Learn a hard song.
9.) Learn how to tune your guitar using the fret-method flawlessly. (How to video will be posted soon)
10.) Learn how to tune your guitar by ear, flawlessly.
11.) Play a friend or family member a song. This will boost your confidence and help you to avoid stage fright.
12.) Perfect the C G and D chord. These are the most frequently used chords.
13.) Practice for about an hour a day (or more!)
14.) Time. You need to make sure you have plenty of time to practice the guitar.
15.) Learn theme songs to a few favorite shows!
16.) Try to learn 1 song or more every 2 weeks. Not required but a good idea!!
17.) Warm up before playing.
18.) Don’t stop for mistakes. You can’t be perfect and the more you don’t stop to fix a mistake the more it will appeal to people and yourself that perfection isn’t what playing the guitar is for but for fun.
19.) Try learning how to read music rather then tab!!!
20.) Learn how to hold a guitar properly.
21.) Use finger exercises. As weird as it may sound it REALLY helps with flexability, and can help you move your fingers around easier. Here is a video link to teach you a few you can do: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tId48-kp3j8
22.) Learn to not put your thumb over the guitar neck. Do: Don’t:
23.) Did a string break? No problem! They don’t cost a lot of money to fix. Just take it to a music store and you will pay about $5 to $10 to replace it.
24.) When do I change my guitar strings? When they break. When they start to change color. Or when they just wont tune properly. People who practice and play more tend to need to buy strings more frequently.
25.) Make sure you know the names of each string. The thickest string (E) is the bottom string. Not the top. Start memorizing the strings from bottom to top. Eddy Ate Dynomite Good Bye Eddy, is a good what to remember the strings names. top→EADGBE←bottom.

Keeping Mealworms

Do you have an amphibian or reptile that eats crickets or mealworms? Do you need to nurture them for science class? Or do you just want to keep them for fun? Do you have a small SMOOTH-SIDED Tupperware™ or bowl? You can keep mealworms easily, and for a long time. (Not the mealworm itself, but you can have a running cycle of them.)

You can obtain the mealies from Wal*Mart or any pet store. They come in small packages and come with their own meal (fine grained oats and other grains).

Life Cycle: 114-165 days to complete. First it is a larva, then a pupa (the mealworm stage), then it grows to adulthood (darkling beetle) where they mate and then die a few weeks after the eggs are laid. Also, they might go dormant for a couple days before the make their chrysalis to turn into beetles. (THE BEETLES FLY AND LAY UP TO 500 EGGS PER BETTLE. Try not to cause an infestation of your house.)

Genders: They are virtually genderless, though they do have indistinct genders. It is said that the males have smaller heads, and the females have larger ones (if the males' are smaller, then duh the females would seem larger. Doi).  You can find the gender by turning your mealworm on is back, or looking at its belly through a clear cup. Use a hand lens for this. The end closest to its 6 legs is its head. The side farthest is the tail. See the sections of the worms? Count seven down from the head. On a female, there will be a swelling and two outcroppings. This is most likely a female.

Keeping Materials:
  • Shallow smooth-sided cup, bowl, or box
  • Fine grains with no additives (e.g. Bleach in flour)
  • Sticks, leaves, etc. etc.
  • A lid with air holes or a rag with a small-medium hole (away from the sides of the container)
  • Small fruit slices with HIGH water levels
  • NO NO NO NO water EVER
  • Mealworms!
Keeping Directions:

Lay the grain throughout the container. Add any leaves or twigs you want. Put in the small fruit slices around the box. Add the mealworm!

Now, just try to keep them healthy and safe. NEVER EVER EVER add water. No added moisture is needed, or they will die. They are hydrated form the water and other liquids in the fruit that they need to eat.

Mine's name is Leopold (Leo for short). I am trying not to get too attached because he is going to die soon. I am going to release him when he cocoons.

Happy mealing!

Coming Soon: Atreus Triklotte and the Shadow Lions of Frindlor Farm

An incredibly gifted five-year-old's parents die, so he is sent to his Aunt, Uncle, and Cousins' house in Kansas. It is a wonderful and nice home, except for the creatures that inhabit the residence with them. The Shadow Lions are Shadow creatures of darkness. Atreus learns from his cousin, Contria, who is very knowledgeable of the supernatural, that he is the last one that can stop the creatures from overrunning the the community. And the worst part: If the Shadows succeed, barely anyone would know.

As you can see, I have started a new book.

Last night, my cousin that lives with my aunt and uncle (his grandma and grandpa) across the street was out for a walk. We walked with them, and when we got back, I told him that these creatures live in our yard. I told them the are called Shadow Lions, and he, gullible as he is, believed me. I told him that I have tried to stop them and failed, and that he was the last one that could stop them from taking over.

With all the other things I had written and put on here, such as Escape of the Institute, and the Guilt is Eating You Alive were fun little things I had written for fun, and thought you'd enjoy reading. I would  hate for someone to take them and call them theirs, but they are not necessarily valuable to me. If they ever do become valuable to me, I will take them down and use them for what I need. The Atreus book is very very very valuable to me, because I hope to have it published once I am finished. And, once my cousin is older, it might be fun to give the book to him and tell him that I wrote it based on him.

Thanks! Also, please email me at itsbumpybackhere@gmail.com to send away for a few paragraphs of it. I think it is pretty good! Also, it is set in Kansas, so that is why no one would know. I think I am gonna add that to the summary. Yeah... So, you would have read it with my changes in it, but as I write this, it doesn't have it in there. Now it does. Yay! Thanks for reading!

New Poll!!

Over there to the right. Yes, yes, right there. Focus on the words that form the question of this newfangled survey. Essentially, (because I can't remember the exact words) it is about which of CB's videos you like more. So. Vote. Yes, you. I have been talking to you the whole time. Haven't you been listening? Poll. To the right. 107 days left. Vote. Videos. Narwhals. GET TO IT!

Go. Seriously. There is nothing else here that you need to FIND. No SECRET MESSAGES or anything. Nothing you need to FIGURE OUT HOW TO FIND... Nope...

Thanks you for finding this. You are smart. That is rare. Please comment the answer to this question without giving away this secret message OR the answer: (So sort of write the answer in code. e.g. if the answer was B (it is not) you could say, "I got stung by a B today!")

I am the beginning of the end, and the end of time and space.
I am essential to creation and I surround every place. What am I?

Fact # 30: Age 30

Since this is out 30th fact, out 30th anniversary of our 1st fact, and just a pretty cool daily thing we do, I will give a fact having to do with '30.'

After age 30, the brain shrinks about a quarter of a percent (0.25%) in mass each year. So, not only is 30 a hurtful age to the 30-year-olds, but you brain gets smaller, too? I suppose that explains a LOT.

30 Years Old:

  ______
 /             \
(               \
 \_______)

40 Years Later:

  _____
(            \
 \______)

Oh, poor adults. More specifically, poor adults age 30+ :( Good thing I'm not there yet!!!

Haha

Happy 30th anniversary, 1st fact!

WEIRDNESS!!!

I tried to get to the Art Drawer today from school and it said it was blocked for my protection. Mrs Stanley said that usually all blogs are blocked. Poo. I really wanted to post from school, but when I tried to get there I didn't even log in I just typed in the URL. Man, lots of run-on sentences here, huh? Haha! Well, school went great, and I hope RK's second day goes well too!!!

Look At All The New Pages!

You see that green bar above all this? There are lots of links in it to different pages. We used to just have three separate pages (aside from the Miscellaneous Pages). Now we have six! Wow! RK was really busy today. Check them all out! They are really cool. We (she) also had the idea of having an Art Drawer Hall of Fame for our top readers. There will be really fun riddles and trivia, and depending on what it is, whoever is right or closest to the answer will get a spot on the hall of fame. Remember to comment or email us your answer AND what you would like to be called, like KingOfRandom or toottoot2e or LaurelG or moonembrace or anything else (just a shout out to a few or our followers). Thanks!! Remember, no last names or personal info or else you will be disqualified and your HOF spot will be taken by the runner-up.

Thanks everybody!!

Another 5/6 Combo Class!

RK and I met in a 5/6 combo class last year. They make those classes because the grades are over their limit in a class. The class size amendment is either 21 or 22, I don't know. But I know we are over it! SOOOO they asked some 6 graders and some 5 graders to be in it! I was in it last year, and this year there are all new people! They MIGHT be teaching mostly to the 5 grade curriculum, but, eh! School is school, right? My teacher is Mrs Stanley. She is really nice! RK had her once. Did you like her, RK?

We moved our stuff in today. Since there is a long weekend, the class starts on Tuesday. Wish me luck! Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! (<---- I laugh when I am excited)
